Default Office 2010?

Will there be an Office 2010 and if so, when do anticipate the date of sale?
Thanks.

There will be an Office 14 (Office 2007 = 12). According to
http://www.microsoft.com/msft/downlo...ell_022409.doc
the release won't be in 2009. An official date is not set, but there are
rumors for March 2010.

The next version is currently called Office 14. There is as yet no
indication when it will be released.

There will be another version of Office eventually. Nobody outside
Microsoft's offices knows yet what it will be called or when it will be
released, and I suspect they could be fired for making premature
announcements. In any case, on-sale dates are never set until the code is
well into beta test. Be patient!

"Nobody outside Microsoft's offices knows yet what it will be called or when

This is MSFT. It's highly likely that nobody *inside* Microsoft's offices
knows this either. g
