Default My background color is bliss instead of white. How do I change.

With a recent Microsoft automatic upgrade, my documents backgroud became
"bliss" color instead of white. I am not able to find the secret to
correcting. I want the background to be the way it use to be. I tried
changing the color in the Display Control Panel. I have XP Media Center
Addition Installed on a Dell E1705.
