Default How do I change the (position) cursor style in Word

My cursor style in Word 2003 has changed on its own to an irritating blinking
(.) dot, instead of the blinking vertical (|) bar. How do I revert it to the
blinking bar ? Thanks.

It's a bug! Set the zoom level to 500% then back to your preferred setting.
