Default calendar wizard in Word 2003

I am trying to setup a calendar in Word 2003 using the calendar wizard. I
chose the calendar style called "Boxes and Borders" but when I finished the
wizard, the boxes would not show up on the calendar. Each day should have a
box around it, but they don't. It will not print with the boxes either. I
did not have this problem with Word 2000, and I have installed the latest
updates, but that did not fix the problem. Any suggestions?

You must apply a border. See

Hi Julie,
I'm having the same issue. Every since we loaded Word 2003 when we create
the same calendar through the wizard as you, it produces it without the
lines. Very frustrating. Let me know if you found the solution. We have
all the patches and updates as well.

Feel free to email me at and in the subject line just
type, calendar wizard.

Thanks, Kim

Hi Suzanne, yes I know how to apply a border, that's exactly what I have been
doing. My question is how to get the calendar wizard to automatically add
this border like it did in XP, 2000 and '97. Version 2003 doesn't
automatically add this border. It's a problem in my office. Some create
calendars for a year and then they have to go to each month and apply the
border. It's very frustrating, especially since they know that in previous
versions they didn't have to do this. If you know of a patch or fix or
something, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks, Kim
