Did you check your printer settings/properties? That's where I have to
indicate "color" instead of "black and white". "Sparra" wrote: I have set a page colour in Word 2007 and can see it on the screen but the colour does not print out. Any suggestions? |

Background colors are intended for Web pages; they do not ordinarily print.
You can force them to print by checking the box for "Print background colors and images" at Office Button | Word Options | Display, but be aware that you will probably not be able to print clear to the edge ("full bleed"), as most printers have an irreducible nonprintable area required for paper handling. Even printers that can print "borderless" photos may not be able to print without borders except on certain paper sizes, perhaps with a special paper carrier, and certainly by selecting a special setting in the printer Properties. -- Suzanne S.
