Default Word 2007 - changing default font

(I'll try again, since the Word version was cut off on my first try.)

The method provided for changing the default font in Word 2007 just doesn't
seem to work for me. I got to the place where it said, "Do you want all new
documents to use Gautami for the default font", clicked yes, and no change
occurred. What else must I do?

Default Word 2007 - changing default font

See if this works for you:

Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S

Click the Manage Styles button near the bottom of the Style pane.

In Manage Styles, click the Set Defaults tab.
