In MS Word2000 I am missing the options button from the tools menu. This
happened following an upgrade load of Windows XP over Windows 2000. I have
done a reload of Office 2000 to no avail

Do you have "Always Show Full Menus" selected? If you don't know,
right-click in the toolbar area and select "Customize." Then click on the
"Options" tab in the window that shows up and click "Always Show Full Menus."
