Default Excel table in word

I have copied a table from excel into word and i need to know how to format
it so that the table fits onto one page. Currently, it is taking up a page
and a half but i want it to fit neatly onto one page. Any ideas?

I suggest that please reduce the column width of those which have very little
text, and increase the column width of the others with too much of data.

Try using "paste special" (go to Edit, then Paste Special) when pasting into
Word. It should help to keep the Excel formatting.

I've tried that but it doesn't seem to work. The problem is with the height
of the table not the width, (in autofit you can easily adjust the width, but
i can't find anything to adjest the height).

If you used paste special double click to edit the Excel sheet - when you
right click you can adjust the height. You you justed pasted the info, go to
you table properties and you can change the height there.
