Word margins slightly off when printed
Hi,
I'm having a problem printing a document... the margins are ever-so-slighly off. The document is in Word 2000, the printer is an HP 4250. I have the margins set to 1.5" on the inside and 1" on the outside. It prints them as something like 1.4" and 1.1". This is consistent whether i have it set to duplex or not... I can shift them slightly, but then the margins are different on the odd and even pages. From reading through these groups, it seems like there are lots of problems with HP drivers, but most people are having major issues (3" missing on the bottom)... this is much more subtle. I can't find any updates on HP's site that seem relevant. This prints just fine on my HP deskjet 6 at home, but the thought of manually duplexing ~1000 pages through a slow printer gives me the shivers. Thanks for any suggestions. mike |
