This is one of the hardest things to do with a computer. It is far easier to
recreate the form on the computer and fill it in. You are talking about
hours per page and everything will need to be adjusted if you change
printers, or possibly even update your computer's operating system. If you
really want to tackle it, I'll tell you what to do.

My recommendation, though, is to instead scan your document in and either
put form fields on top of it using tables or frames, or recreate the form as
text. (Recreating is probably better in the long run because you'll have
much smaller and simpler documents.

For any of these three options (printing on your printed forms, printing on
an image of your form, or recreating the form) you'll need to learn about
what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. For more about online
forms, follow the links at
http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles. You may also want to look at
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFl...nesInForms.htm. I would
recommend reading at least the first three of Ms. Chapman's articles before
you tackle your first conversion.

Hope this helps,
