Is there any way to change the formatting of the built in citation feature
for Microsoft Word. When I enter items the entries are cited using the "old"
(pre-2008 edition) style. Lacking a manual way of changing format, is there
a download or something to provide the new style?

There is no download with the 'new' style. You can update the style
yourself, it is located under Word 2007 directory\bibliography\styles
\MLA.xsl The style is in XSLT and is rather complex to manipulate at
first sight though.

Are there many differences between the 'new' and 'old' version? If it
is just a few things, such as first names now being abbreviated (or no
longer abbreviated) then someone in this group might be able to help
you with it. If it's totally different, then you will probably have to
start from scratch.
