I already have an internet fax service.
When I try to fax from Word 2003, I get prompted to sign up for an internet
fax service. I already have an account with send2fax - it works fine from Outlook. How can I make Word aware of this? |

How can I make Word aware of this?
I don't know as a. office documentation on this subject always suggests that you only have to sign up once, and the necessary entries in the Windows registry are not obviously documented anywhere b. I don't have an internet fax service set up here so cannot examine the relevant registry entries either. But what I suggest you do is a. ask the same question in the Outlook Fax group, where you are more likely to find people who are using Internet fax b. consider having a look at the Windows registry: proceed with caution and don't change anything unless you know what you are doing, - open the registry editor (regedit.exe, typically in your Windows folder) - look for the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\C ommon\Services\Fax - is it there? - if so, what is in it? (each key may have values and subkeys) Is there anything that suggests that something has to be set up for each program that uses Internet fax? Peter Jamieson "Invictus" wrote in message ...
