Default How can I stop selected items on a page from printing?

Change their color to white, or for pictures use the tools on the
Picture toolbar to set them to the highest brightness and least
contrast. After printing, use the Undo button to reverse the changes.

Alternatively, Tools | Options, Print panel has some settings for stopping,
say, drawing objects from printing. Might want to explore there.
