Default CTRL-HOME has stopped functioning

CTRL-HOME opens the FIND routine opened by CTRL-F. HOME alone does not work
either. If I precede HOME by a left arror, it works as it should. Similarly,
if I preced CTRL-HOME with HOME it works. I have checked the assignments and
they are as they should be. Also if I select some text, I can no longer move
it, or even delete it with DEL.

In Tools=Optins=General in Word see if
turning off the WordPerfect choices (DOS v5.1 compatability)
helps.
