Word 2003/XP

I was trying to select the entire table and make a dot leader tab in a
table. I wanted each cell to have this dot leader. The document already had
misc tabs in it that I deleted. When I selected the entire table and tried
the dot leader tabs they would not line up.

What else should I have looked for?
