[Island Girl]

I'm a shortcut kind of gal. I was looking through the "Customize Keyboard"
dialog box to see if there were any I'd like to add to my very long list.
EditCopyasPicture looked exciting so I created a shortcut for it.

While trying out my newfound shortcut, I pasted the copied paragraphs as a
Microsoft Word Document Object. The result was as expected. Then I thought
I'd see what happens if I pasted it as an Enhanced Windows Metafile. It came
out as a picture--but the five unnumbered paragraphs I pasted came out
numbered.

How in the world did that happen? No numbering icon was clicked and I
couldn't detect anything else that would just automatically number what I
pasted. I can just go on pasting as a Word Doc Object and be happy, or I can
always wonder what caused the "Enhanced Windows Metafile" choice to render
the numbered paragraphs.

If you can help me stop wondering, I'd appreciate it.

What version of Word are you using?

If in Word 2007 are you working in native or compatibility mode?

Is this in any document or only certain ones?
