How do I open subdocuments in word 2007
I have master documents containing subdocuments from Word 2003.
I cannot find a means to open the subdocuments in the master document with Word 2007. Print preview asks if I want to open the subdocs to preview but does nothing, literally. Anyone have any ideas? |

How do I open subdocuments in word 2007
Hi Russell,
The Master/Subdocument controls are on the Ribbon in the Outline view of Word 2007. If the document is a Word Master Document you should see an 'Expand Subdocuments' button next to the 'Show Document' (click this first to see other options). If it's not a Master document you would usually see a greyed out 'Collapse Subdocuments' button rather than an 'Expand Subdocuments'. ========== "Russellz" wrote in message ...
