Ok this is not my first rodeo... That being said I have used the search
fuction and tried the set the zoom to 500% trick.

I have two users on Word 2003 that have this problem. When you are typing
and let the words wrap the insertion point is visable. As soon as you hit the
ENTER key it disappears until you chick the mouse on the page. Sadly I am one
of the users this is aflicting. The common thing between the two users is
Dragon natually speaking is or was installed. I uninstalled and have even
re-install office.
