open a document from a hyperlink at a bookmark
Is there anyway that you can create a hyperlink to open a word document at a
specific bookmark? Thanks Greg |

Sure. Enter a bookmark in doc1. Then in doc2, hit Ctrl+K to add the
hyperlink. Locate the file (Be sure to enter the full path if not in the same folder. Note that you can use the Recent Files shortcut if you just opened doc1.) Once the file is hyperlinked, click the BOOKMARK button on that same hyperlink dialog box and you'll see any bookmarks in the hyperlinked doc. Choose the one you need. Save doc2. When you click the link, it'll open doc1 and jump to the bookmarked location. Dian D.
