How can I get rid of a grid background?
All of a sudden, when I open a word document, new or old, it has a grid
background. When I go to print, it doesn't show up or if I go to normal layout is goes away but I type in print layout and the grid background is annoying. Any ideas on how to get rid of it? I'm not sure how it got there, and I have tried to click on backgrounds tab but it didn't help. |

How can I get rid of a grid background?
In Word, display the Drawing toolbar if it isn't already
displayed (View | Toolbars | Drawing). On the Drawing toolbar, click on Draw | Grid | uncheck the "Display gridlines on screen" box | OK. water tower wrote: All of a sudden, when I open a word document, new or old, it has a grid background.
