tax calculation in a form
what formula would i use to take a user-defined tax rate in one field, then
calculate the total with tax from a subtotal entered in another field? in other words, how do i caluclate taxes with a varible (user entered) tax rate? |

If the amount field is a number field formatted as currency (say) Text1 and the tax field is a number field formatted as % (say) Text2 then check the calculate on exit text box of the second field and insert the following Word formula field. { ={ Text1 } * { Text2 } + { Text1 }} to give the total plus tax.
