Default Invoice Numbers with Autoupdate ... continued

I have set up a macro as suggested within this newsgroup that uses a
settings.txt file to save the invoice numbers. I now have another question.

I have an invoice that is in the format

XXXXX###-YYYY

Where XXXXX never changes, and ### is the incrementing invoice number and
YYYY is the year. I have a field code for the year information. How do I
use the macro for the invoice number and not have a space were the form
field once was.

Thanks in advance,
Barb Reinhardt
