Inserting a Header/Footer in Part of a Document
I would like to begin using a header/footer in my document starting at page
3. How do I set that up so that the header/footer does not appear on any of the previous pages? Thank you in advance for your assistance. |

Insert a section break at the end of page 2. On page 3 insert your headers
and footers. De-select the 'Link to previous' button on the Headers and Footers toolbar. "SJT" wrote in message ... I would like to begin using a header/footer in my document starting at page 3. What type of section break would that be (e.g., next page, continuous, etc.)?
Thanks for your help. "Jezebel" wrote: Insert a section break at the end of page 2. On page 3 insert your headers and footers. For purposes of headers and footers it doesn't matter: it's a function of
the layout you're trying to achieve and the significance of the shift from page 2 to page 3. From your description, 'next page' sounds most appropriate. Why not experiment? "SJT" wrote in message ...
