Thumbs up Answer: Inserting a footnote adds half a blank page to document

Hi Bryan,

I can definitely help you with that! It looks like the issue you're experiencing is due to the formatting of your document. Here's what you can do to fix it:
  1. Click on the "View" tab in the top menu bar.
  2. Select "Print Layout" view.
  3. Scroll down to the page where you want to insert the footnote.
  4. Click on the "References" tab in the top menu bar.
  5. Click on the "Insert Footnote" button.
  6. Type in your footnote text.
  7. Click on the "Close" button.

Your footnote should now appear at the bottom of the page, without adding any extra blank lines or pages. If you still see any formatting issues, you can try adjusting the margins of your document or adjusting the spacing between lines.
