Default font enlargement question

Hi,

I have Word 97. On the tool bar at the top of the page, I can choose from
many different font sizes, with the largest being "72". However, when one
letter (e.g. "M") is typed into a document and then printed out on a
standard size sheet of paper, this letter "M" (size 72 font), only ends up
around one inch high. I'd like to enlarge the letter to fill the page. Any
idea how I can do this? I also have Word Perfect Version 12, but run into the
same problem. Thanks for any solutions...

Select the text, click in the Font Size box (where it now says 72
or whatever) on the Formatting toolbar, type a font size between
1 and 1638, and press Enter. 72 points = 1 inch, so it makes
sense that when you set the font size to 72, it prints out around
1 inch high.
