Insert multiple rtf files and retain headers/footers
I am trying to append a Word document with multiple rtf files, all having
different headers/footers, using Insert/Object/From File. I am inserting the rtf file between 2 Next Page Section breaks. Sometimes the header & footer carries thru to the Word doc, and sometimes it does not. Does anyone know if there is anything different I should be doing using rtf files? Thanks! -- carusso |

Thanks, Nina. I had already read that FAQ document. It states you have to
use a Continuous Page Break. But that didn't work. After a bunch of trial and error, I finally just got it working, making sure there was always a Next Page Section break at the end of the document, positioning my cursor just before the break, and inserting the file. So far, so good!
