Default 2nd page header with letterhead

I am trying to insert a header on stationary with preprinted letterhead on
all pages. When I click the "do not put on first page" button, it takes the
header and the letterhead off the first page, too! How do I fix it so that
the printed letterhead stays on the first page but the header starts on page
2?

After you've enabled the "Different first page" option in File | Page
Setup, Layout tab, just cut the contents of the main header and paste
it into the first page header.

If you cannot see anything beyond the first page, you could
temporarily insert a page break; then you can access the second page
and get access to the main header.

For more on letterhead creation, see

General information about headers and footers can be found at

Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where you
want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages.

instructions. (It also has the following links)
