win.dat conversions
When a Word document is attached to an Outlook e-mail message to some
addresses it is converted to win.dat - which cannot be opened. Needless to say the recipient is getting rather anoyed by this and I would love a solution. Molly |

win.dat conversions
This is due to your email format.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290809/en-us Change your email format to HTML and you shouldn't have this problem: Tools | Options | Mail Format Select HTML from the drop-down box I would also suggest that you DO NOT use Word as your email editor if you are on Word/Outlook 2003 "Molly" wrote: When a Word document is attached to an Outlook e-mail message to some addresses it is converted to win.dat - which cannot be opened.
