word 2000 opens big screen on opening
when i open word 2000 it opens on large screen format .any ideas to change it

Are you saying it opens maximized? You can control how Word opens by
changing the Properties of the shortcut used to open it. Also, if you close Word in a Normal window, it should open the same way. -- Suzanne S.
