Default TOC and list of figures first line not aligned

The first line on each page in my table of contents and list of figures is
not aligned with the rest of the table. In the TOC the page number is beyond
the right margin. In the list of figures, the first line on each page starts
1/2-inch to the right of the left margin. The first line paragraph indent
has no effect other than to alter the entire table. Has anyone run into this?

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...lyIndented.htm for one
possibility.

Thank you so much, Suzanne. That was the problem.

Glad I could help. I suspected this had resulted from your removing a page
number from front matter. As the article says, this is a good argument for
not using Insert | Page Numbers.
