Default .LWP file in word

I have a document in the .LWP format which will not display correctly on
office 2003 do i have to download a plugin from somewhere to make this
readable ?

It seems as tho you have a WordPro document. Have you tried contacting the
person who gave you this file and ask them if they can provide another
format?

Default .LWP file in word

There is no Word filter for WordPro. There are third party filters
available - at a price. eg Dataviz
WordPro will save the document in a compatible format, so JoAnn's suggestion
is the simplest workaround.

Default .LWP file in word

Word has never been able to open native-format WordPro (.lwp)
files. You can download and install the Lotus KeyView program by
visiting ftp://ftp.lotus.com/pub/lotusweb/product/smartsuite/ and
clicking on KVLOTUS.EXE. Lotus KeyView is a free viewer that
will let you open Lotus SmartSuite files (WordPro, 1-2-3, and
Freelance Graphics) and then copy and paste to Word or other
applications.
