I insert a comment into a document with my initials. When I saved it, my
initials change to A1, and I am now referred to as "Author," even though my
name is set on the Options User Information tab. I'm using Word 2003.

On the Save tab of Tools | Options, is the option to "Remove personal
information..." checked?
