Word 2007 faulting under Vista
Hi all,
Clean install of Vista RTM, clean install of Office 2007 RTM. I cannot get Word (or Powerpoint) to run (even in Safe Mode), but Excel and Access work just fine. Event log shows: Faulting application WINWORD.EXE, version 12.0.4518.1014, time stamp 0x45428028, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549bdc9, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x000af1c9, process id 0x1418, application start time 0x01c70c4c0bc8bc43. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling to no avail. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks, -Gary |

Never mind...figured it out myself...

A Dell 5100cn.
It's weird...if I use the drivers that Windows provides it works fine. I would like to assist in getting a resolution to this issue. Is there anyone I should notify about the problem? Is it considered an Office / Word issue or a Dell problem? Also strange that the printer (with the newer drivers from Dell) worked under
