embedded link, of multiple pages, between WORD Docs
When I embed a dynamic link of multi-page text from Doc1 into Doc2, I only
see the 1st page of the linked text in Doc2. How can I see ALL pages of the linked text? |

Hi Susan-
Unfortunately links work just that way. The only content that will show in the client file is what will fit within the object's window... typically no more than the first page. Also, the object cannot span a page break. For on-screen viewing you can double-click the object to open it in a Word window. That will give you access to the entire file including the ability to edit it. Click back in the other doc window when done to return to it. If you want the entire linked document to _print_ in the client, you will have to use a different method such as actually Inserting the other file (InsertFile rather than InsertObject) or getting involved with Master/Sub-Documents.
