You have to have the text box, but you can select "no line" on the drawing
toolbar (the one with the artist's paintbrush) and the box will seemingly disappear. "'LITTLE SLIVER'" wrote: IS IT POSIBLE TO ERASE THE TEXT BOX BUT NOT THE TEXT? |

Stutz1932 suggested a solution to one interpretation of your question. If
what you want, however, is to get the text out of the text box, there are two possible approaches. 1. Cut the text and paste it into the main document, then delete the text box; or 2. Convert the text box to a frame (Text Box tab of Format | Text Box) and then select the text and press Ctrl+Q, which removes direct paragraph formatting. Since the paragraph style does not include a frame, this will remove it. -- Suzanne S.
