Recording Macro with Spike
I've recently upgraded to from Word 2003 to Word 2007. When I use the Spike
while recording the macro it is entered as "NormalTemplate.BuildingBlockEntries.AppendToS pike Range:=Selection.Range" rather than the now correct "NormalTemplate.AutoTextEntries.AppendToSpike Range:=Selection.Range" Is there any way to have it record the macro correctly, or do I just need to fix it every time? |

The macro recorder never has been able to handle every requirement. Word
2007 is no exception. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org kaoinla wrote: I've recently upgraded to from Word 2003 to Word 2007. Thanks for the confirmation!
The spike was properly recorded in Word 2003. I have sent feedback that this should be corrected. "Graham Mayor" wrote: The macro recorder never has been able to handle every requirement.
