Default how do i stop my cursor jumping aound on its own?

When i am typing a document, my cursor keeps jumping around to other parts of
my text.

If you can state what version of Microsoft Office-Word you are using, and
your operating system, it might help. You can also access your Control
Panel, and set your Cursor blink rate to a slower setting, but some other
steps would have to be taken, depending on version, and operating system.
