Why doesn't my spell check work in Word?
When I try to spell check my word document I receive the following:
"The macro cannot be found or has been disabled due to macro security settings". I went to Toos Macros Security and choose "Low" for the security setting, but it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Sounds like someone has written a macro named ToolsProofing that is
hijacking the built-in command. Try finding and deleting the macro. -- Suzanne S. When I go to delete the macro, the delete button is greyed out.

Change the "Macros in" setting till you isolate the template or add-in that
contains this macro. Then unload the add-in. If it's in your Startup folder and it's something you don't need, move it out. Note that if you find this "macro" only in the Word Commands list, then we're barking up the wrong tree. -- Suzanne S.
