Default Word text box problem

I have a document that for some reason a co-worker saved as a pdf. It has
been resaved as a doc file for editing purposes and there are text boxes
everywhere! All of the text from the file is in multiple boxes and all
misaligned. Does anyone know of a quick fix or am I stuck cutting and
pasting the text in a new word file. Please help!!

Thanks!!

Cutting and pasting won't help, as the text boxes will come right along with
the re-pasted text. Try highlighting the text within the text boxes and then
using the "styles" window and clicking on "Normal." That should return the
text to its original condition. Unfortunately, you're still going to have to
do this with every occurrence of a text box; there's no overall one-button
fix that I can think of.

Thank you so much! I never had this happen before so it was a total surprise.
