Default Mailmerge Toolbar Button Disabled

I seem to have inadvertently disabled the mailmerge toolbar button View Merge
data. Using Word 2003. Access 2002

Default Mailmerge Toolbar Button Disabled

For the button to be active, the active document must be a mailmerge
document with a data source attached to it and with at least one merge field
in the document. Do you have that?
