When typing in a document of several pages in length, WORD will not allow me
to enter more then one page of length.....when I reach the end of page one,

Go to Format | Columns, make sure "Whole document" is selected, and click on
the button for One (even if it is already selected). This bug is supposedly
fixed in Word 2003, though, so is it possible you're typing in a text box or
wrapped table?
