How do I duplicate info in two inserted fields in Word?
Is there a way to "link" two fields in a Word document so that when I enter
info in the first field it is automatically entered into the second field? It is not a standard field, such as date or page number, but different info each time. The way it works now is that I have to enter identical info separately in both fields. The Word document will not be merged into or with any other document. |

How do I duplicate info in two inserted fields in Word?
Hi ?B?TGlzYSBNVA==?=,
Is there a way to "link" two fields in a Word document so that when I enter info in the first field it is automatically entered into the second field? It is not a standard field, such as date or page number, but different info each time. The way it works now is that I have to enter identical info separately in both fields. Please specify the types of fields. General answer: No. But you could bookmark one of them and Insert/Cross-reference to display the content in another place. Anything else would probably require a macro solution.
