Default transfer word document to personal website as a link

Is it possible to take a document from word and use it to create a link on my
personal site and how do I do it.

Hi Wendy

Are you saying that you have a page on a website, and you would like a link
on that page to a Word document?

If so, put the Word document on the webserver in the same folder as the web
page. Then, in the web page use something like this:

a href="myfile.doc"Click here to open MyFile.doc/a
