Default Captialization using Speech

How can I capitalize words as I dictate in MS Word Speech? I try in the way
that Dragon Dictate programs allow--by saying "cap" then the word--and it
doesn't work. Suggestions?

Hi Tom,

Unfortunately the Office dictation implementation isn't up to the level of that of Dragon's.

As it mentions in the articles (show all) if you have a named command on the toolbar or in a menu then the dictation should follow
those in navigation, but turning capitalization on/off would be through Format=Case in that instance. but you may be able to use
'Caps On' and 'Caps' off before and after the letter you want shifted to upper case (sigh). If I recall saying 'Shift' as a
*command* isn't reliable.

You may find the Yahoo Group for MS Speech Recognition (SR) to be helpful in getting more out of that tool in Office 2003. MS will
provide it as a Windows service in Vista with a broader useage capability than just Office (although note the 'good news-bad news'
document on this page.
