Tahnks in advanceIn Word 2003 SP3 on PC, i edited the normal.dot file so that
th envelope address and return address would use garamond. Now, each time i
open a new Word doc the envelope template (with my return address) appears
above the blank page. Also, funnily enough, When i reply to an email in
Outlook 2003, that same envelope template inserts itself into the original
message (not into my reply). And also in Outlook, it inserts itself to the
end of my signature when i start a new message! Gosh i hope someone can help
me with this, it is qute frustrating. thanks in advance.

You could have edited the envelope address and envelope return styles
without directly editing normal.dot
