To achieve a rounded off result in Word, you can either round the data off correctly in Excel, or apply a numeric picture switch to the Word MERGEFIELD. To do the latter: . select the Word MERGEFIELD and press Shift-F9. You should see something like- {MERGEFIELD ExcelData} . edit the Word MERGEFIELD to look like- {MERGEFIELD ExcelData \# 0.0} . press F9 . run your mailmerge. See Word's help file for more information on field formatting Cheers "ZGH" wrote in message ... I used a Excel file as mailmerge's data source. But the data, such as 2.4, in excel, changed to a long format, such as 2.39999999, in word document. I don't want these changes. Some suggestions? Thanks |
