Merge Fields Date Format
Hi there, I'm trying to merge an Excel document into Word and the date format
is coming up americanised, ie mmddyy, I prefer the UK date format of ddmmyy, I've tried to rectify this thr using Shift F9, however the date is coming up as ddmmyy, however via the merge it is changing of its own accord is there a known bug or any way to repair this, the versions I'm using are; Word 2003 SP2 Excel 2003 SP2 XP Pro 2002 SP2 Oh just in case the data source in Excel has the UK date format of ddmmyy too Thanks Geri |

I was just wondering if you did manage to rectify this problem, as I've encountered it too and if so, a simple explaination of how you did it would be really helpful! Merge Fields Date Format
Can you please try to look through the various replies to the three
conversations Geri has started on this subject since mid-October and see if any of the suggestions made in there help? be more than glad when I find one that works, glad to hear I'm not the only person with this problem! Hi Nicky, I've managed to look through all the posts and the one from Doug
works a treat, so I cut and past his reply for you click on the link and follow steps 1 to 6 in your excel document then perform the merge fingers crossed it will work for you too.
