What is it for? and How does it work?

It's for creating equations. You use Insert | Object | Microsoft Equation
3.0 to insert an equation object (if you do this often, you may want to add an Equation Editor button to a toolbar), and then you just kind of follow your nose. If you know what you want your equation to look like, then poke around in the various palettes on the EE toolbar until you find what you want. F1 will bring up the EE Help, which should provide answers for anything you can't figure out on your own. -- Suzanne S. It is for creating complex equations in a Word Document. You access it by
selection Object from the Insert menu and then scrolling down the list of available objects until you come to the Microsoft Equation 3.0 item and selecting it and then clicking OK. -- Hope this helps.
