Word 2003 truncating linked data at 1k?
I have a Word 2003 document that has links to individual cells in Excel
2003. If I show field codes the links look like this: {LINK Excel.Sheet8 C:\\filename.xls SheetName!namedcell \a \r \f 4} Problem is that my cells are getting truncated at about 1k of data. My cells have between 200 and 3000 characters, so the big ones look fine in Excel but are incomplete in Word. Is there a limit to the sized of linked data in Word 2003, and can it be adjusted in any way? I've sunk hundreds of hours into the project I'm working on and for technical reasons I need to have cells this size. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeff |
