Default how do I set my windows to open in one size or Max

on all programs everytime I open a window the size of the window seems to be
random from very small to full size. Can I set windows XP to open my winsows
at a set size or allway max?

Default how do I set my windows to open in one size or Max

For any given program shortcut, you can specify that the program should
start Maximized. This is in the shortcut Properties.
